About Ozark Reclaim Tech

I’m Jeremy Bowman, the person behind Ozark Reclaim Tech. I collect computers and electronics around Northwest Arkansas and look for ways to keep useful technology in use.

A computer that’s been replaced may still work well for someone else. A broken machine may have memory, a power supply, or another part that helps repair one. That’s what we look for before recycling.

A local business with reuse at its heart

Our goal is to help useful technology reach its next owner and get more use from the equipment already in our community. We assess, repair, refurbish, and resell equipment where practical, and recover useful parts.

Giving equipment another life can reduce unnecessary waste. We’re a reuse and resale business, not a nonprofit, and handing equipment to us is not a tax-deductible charitable donation.

Easy to get in touch

You don’t need a detailed inventory to ask about pickup. A short description and your city are a good start. Small quantities are welcome, and we’ll discuss the equipment and transport before scheduling.

Drive wiping and reports

For supported drives, we provide data wiping that follows NIST SP 800-88 guidelines, with a written report for every drive we process. We overwrite magnetic hard drives with ShredOS and use supported device-native Secure Erase or Sanitize methods for SSDs. We check and document the result. Failed or unverifiable drives stay out of reuse and resale and are held for authorized physical destruction. We do not hold NAID AAA or R2 certification.

When another service is needed

We do not provide certified recycling, certified data destruction, or destruction certificates. We also do not have a public storefront or drop-off. For items we cannot collect, our local reuse and disposal guide lists other routes.
