Our process

A pickup usually goes like this, from start to finish. We look for reuse first.

Serving Fayetteville, Springdale, Rogers, Johnson, and nearby Northwest Arkansas communities. Pickups farther from Fayetteville depend on the type and quantity of equipment.

1. 01

   You describe what you have

   Send a short description, a rough count, your location, and a few photos from your phone. Note anything you already know about condition. The initial request only requires the basics.

2. 02

   We confirm that we can take it

   We look at the type, condition, and quantity and tell you whether we can take it. If it is not a fit, we will usually point you toward a better option.

3. 03

   We schedule a pickup

   For a qualifying load in our normal service area, we arrange a pickup time that works for you. We run one small vehicle, so quantity, location, and equipment size all matter.

4. 04

   We document the handoff

   When requested, we fill out a property-transfer authorization with the person releasing the equipment. It records the pickup details, equipment covered, authority to release it, and whether storage media is included. We can give the organization a copy.

5. 05

   We check what works

   Once the equipment is with us, we check what powers on, what might be repairable, and what is useful for parts.

6. 06

   We look for a second use

   We check working and repairable equipment for continued use or resale. Reuse is where we start.

7. 07

   We recover useful parts

   If a whole unit cannot be reused, we recover useful components such as drives, memory, power supplies, and cards when it makes sense.

8. 08

   We send the rest to recycling

   Anything we can’t reuse or recover goes to an established electronics-recycling program. If we can’t handle something, we’ll say no rather than take it and let it pile up.
