What is Ozark Reclaim Tech?
Ozark Reclaim Tech is a local electronics reuse and refurbishment business. We collect equipment from businesses, organizations, and households, then assess it for reuse, resale, useful parts, and recycling through other providers when needed.
Are you an electronics recycler?
No. Ozark Reclaim Tech is a small electronics reuse and resale operation. We assess equipment for continued use, repair, resale, or useful parts. Anything we cannot reuse may go to an established electronics-recycling program. We do not provide certified recycling or certified data-destruction services.
What electronics do you take?
Business laptops, desktop PCs, Macs and workstations, servers, GPUs and computer components, flat-panel monitors, working CRT televisions and monitors, networking equipment, game consoles, and projectors. We also take AV equipment, power supplies, and broken equipment with useful parts. Ask first about printers.
Do you take CRT televisions and monitors?
We consider working CRT televisions and monitors case by case. Email a photo so we can check the type and size. We generally cannot take nonworking or damaged CRTs.
Is pickup free?
Pickup is free for qualifying loads, such as a few working laptops or desktops or a group of flat-panel monitors. Boxes of parts are considered case by case. Equipment type, size, quantity, and location affect what we can collect. We confirm the details with you before scheduling.
What areas do you serve?
Serving Fayetteville, Springdale, Rogers, Johnson, and nearby Northwest Arkansas communities. Pickups farther from Fayetteville depend on the type and quantity of equipment.
Do you accept small quantities?
Yes. A few computers or a box of components is enough to ask about. Call or email with what you have and your city.
What information should I send to get started?
A short description and your city are enough to start. A rough count helps, and you can text or email photos. You do not need a detailed inventory or exact model numbers.
What happens to the electronics after pickup?
We assess equipment for continued use, repair, resale, and useful parts. Equipment we cannot reuse may go to an established electronics-recycling program; we do not perform that recycling ourselves.
Can you provide documentation of the pickup?
Yes. When requested, we can fill out a property-transfer authorization with the releasing party, pickup details, equipment covered, and permission to take possession. We can give the authorized representative a copy. It records the handoff, not recycling or data destruction.
Can you wipe hard drives and SSDs?
For supported drives, we provide data wiping that follows NIST SP 800-88 guidelines, with a written report for every drive we process. We overwrite magnetic hard drives with ShredOS and use supported device-native Secure Erase or Sanitize methods for SSDs. We check and document the result. Failed or unverifiable drives stay out of reuse and resale and are held for authorized physical destruction. We do not hold NAID AAA or R2 certification.
What should I do about data on my devices?
Back up the files you need and agree on storage handling with us before handoff. Ask about wiping supported hard drives and SSDs with a written outcome report for each drive. Keep any storage you do not authorize us to process. We do not provide certified data destruction.
What don’t you take?
We usually can’t take large appliances, items too large or heavy for one small vehicle, hazardous or unknown materials, or swollen or visibly damaged lithium batteries. We do not take phones or tablets. Loose cables and chargers won’t get a pickup of their own, but working ones are fine to include with other equipment. When in doubt, ask.
Should I contact you before recycling old technology?
Working or repairable equipment may have another useful life. You’re welcome to ask about it before deciding on recycling.
